However, Naruto is not the only person in the series to have such a beast sealed within him. In fact, there are many similar Ninja who come from different villages. These shinobi are hosts for tailed demons, and are called Jinchūriki .
What is a tailed demon?
The tailed demons, sometimes called "Chakra Monsters", are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of the Six Paths from the chakra of the Ten-Tails. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine.

Tailed Demon Receptacles
Gaara, the Jinchūriki of Chukaku
Gaara is a shinobi from Suna. Before his birth, Shukaku was sealed within him, leading to his mother's death ⚰. Considered a monster by the village and with no one to love him, Gaara came to despise the world and began to rely solely on his own strength, earning the title Gaara of the Sandfall.
After his defeat against Naruto Uzumaki and his unwavering devotion to his friends, Gaara begins to imitate Naruto's method and changes Suna's opinions about him. He eventually becomes the village's fifth Kazekage , a position he maintains even after Shukaku is removed from his body by Akatsuki. ☁ He uses sand to fight his opponents.
Yugito Nii, Jinchūriki of Nabi
Yugito became a jinchūriki of the two-tailed demon Nabi at the age of two, and upon completion of the intensive training put upon her, she was able to use her tailed demon's transformation.
For close combat, Yugito can grow claws from her hands and feet to become long claws. Coupled with his natural taijutsu skills, Yugito could take on even the best swordsman. ⚔
She has been shown to be quite skilled in taijutsu, first attacking with her clawed hands to force her enemies to block with both arms, then attacking them with her clawed feet.
Yagura the Jinchûriki of sanbi
Yagura was the jinchūriki of the four-tailed demon (Sanbi) and the Fourth Mizukage of the hidden village of Kiri . When Sanbi was captured by Akatsuki, he no longer had a host and wandered into the wild. 🏞
Yagura was an extremely powerful shinobi, worthy of his role as the Fourth Mizukage. He masteredIsobu's power at a very young age, becoming a perfect jinchūriki. After his reincarnation during the Great Ninja War, Yagura was seen with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.
With his additional abilities, Yagura used his attacks in a more precise and coordinated manner with the other Jinchūriki. 👹
Roshi, Jinchūriki of Son Goku
Rōshi became Son Gokū's jinchūriki over forty years before the Fourth Great Ninja War at a young age. He left his Iwa, his hometown at one point to better understand and control the power of the demon within him.
Rōshi had been noted as a very powerful shinobi. Kisame Hoshigaki 🦈 a powerful member of Akatsuki, stated that Rōshi was not an enemy to be taken lightly as he was difficult to capture. He was also seen using a curved kunai which it can be assumed he had some skill with.
Han, Jinchuriki of Gobi
Han was a ninja from Iwa and the jinchūriki of Gobi. He was at one point captured by Akatsuki and had the 5-tailed demon removed, causing Han's death.
Han's fighting style revolves around taijutsu. He covers his body in special armor with a furnace on his back that stores large amounts of steam, used when releasing kokuô chakra, the mixture of fire🔥 and water nature chakra💧, which boils the Han chakra at the highest temperature.
By regulating the amount and pressure of the steam, Han can greatly increase his physical strength and the force behind his taijutsu attacks. The power of his chakra coupled with steam is enough to send opponents flying with a single kick. When his normal attacks aren't strong enough, he uses steam to power them up, catching his opponents by surprise.
This was seen when he sent Naruto in his Nine-Tailed Chakra Mode flying into Killer B with such force that the two were propelled far into the forest.
Utakata, Jinchūriki of Saiken
Utakata was a missing-nin from Kiri and the jinchūriki of the Six-Tailed Demon, Saiken. In the anime, his capture by Akatsuki is the focus of his own arc. In the anime, he was shown agile in combat , effortlessly dodging and maneuvering all of Naruto's attacks and the assaults of Nangō, Akaboshi, Benten and Chūshin.
He was very observant, as he noticed that Akaboshi and his group had changed their chakra flow. He is also proficient in aftercare and herbal remedies. He was also able to follow the natural energy that was gathering in Shiranami's Tsuchigumo Style: Liberation of Forbidden Life Technique ❌ Creation of Heaven and Earth Technique with his Soap Bubble Ninjutsu.
Fuu, Jinchūriki of Nanabi
Fû was a kunoichi of Taki and the jinchūriki of the 7-tailed demon Nanabi. At some point, she was captured by Akatsuki and the Seven-Tailed Demon was removed from her body, resulting in her death.
Fū could use a wide variety of techniques , such as mastering a sparkling substance that glows so brightly that it blinds her targets, creating an opening for herself or her allies to attack.
In the anime, she can use a transmission technique, which allows her to communicate with her allies silently and at long range, with the technique emitting a howling sound similar to wind.🌪 She can also create webs that can heal her allies without any contact or movement. She can also produce a cocoon of chakra threads that can slow or stop chakra absorption techniques.
Killer Bee the Jinchūriki of Hachibi
Killer Bee is a shinobi from Kumo. He is the newest jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Demons, but, unlike his predecessors, he is able to befriend him and hone his power for the benefit ofKumo .
Although he is responsible for protecting the village, B aspires to be the greatest rapper in the world . B is Hachibi's jinchūriki, and is one of the few individuals to have achieved full control over his tailed demon as noted by Danzō Shimura, achieving this control with ease at the Falls of Truth, becoming a perfect jinchūriki.
Like her fellow Kumo, Yugito, Bee can transform into a hachibi 🐙with great ease in a matter of seconds and maintain control even in this completely liberated state. Bee is the only known living jinchūriki who can transform at will and remain in his demon chakra mode indefinitely.
Because he has a strong relationship with Hachibi, it can help B in combat, disrupt his chakra to dispel even the genjutsu of a Mangekyō Sharingan , or simply grant B more of his own chakra if B runs out himself .
Even genjutsu of Itachi Uchiha's caliber are easily broken with this method, with Bee being able to easily counterattack. This makes Bee's "control" over Hachibi more of a voluntary partnership than actual dominance.🤜🏻🤛🏻 Although he is not allowed to transform by his brother, Bee disregards it due to his undeniable control, whether when training or fighting against formidable opponents.
Naruto the Kyubi Jinchūriki
Naruto Uzumaki is a shinobi from Konoha. Naruto realized that he could no longer avoid using the Kyubi's power and sought out Killer B, Hachibi's jinchūriki, to learn how to control his tailed demon's chakra. With the help of his mother and Bee, Naruto was able to split and take most of Kyubi's chakra, giving him access to the Nine Tails Chakra Mode , which greatly increases his speed, strength, and defenses.
As conquering the nine tails was not the same as cooperating with him, Naruto at the time could not use the fox's power 🦊 and had to exercise extreme caution when using nines mode Chakra tails, as it could cost him his life .
Finally realizing his own respect for Naruto after everything he has endured in his life and the type of person he has become, Kurama decides to accept his friendship. With this new friendship, Kurama freely gives Naruto his chakra and access to his chakra. Together, they become overpowered.
Obito Jinchūriki
The shinobi watch in confusion as Jubi disappears from the battlefield.💨 As the shinobi searched for answers, Hiashi watched with his son Byakugan and Sakura asked Hinata what she saw. It is revealed that Obito had actually initiated a sealing technique that allowed him to absorb Jūbi into himself making him the demon's new jinchūriki.
Emerging in his new form, Naruto confirms that Obito was capable of resisting Madara's control and had instead used a different technique than to revive him. Meanwhile, Killer B confirms with Hachibi that the beasts have reached their final form and were sealed within Obito.Hashirama then attempts to restrain Obito, but Obito's new power was too powerful for the technique that had previously sealed the Ten-Tailed Demon.
In response, Obito generated four chakra arms, then tore apart the barrier erected by the four Hokages. Seeing this, Hashirama warns the other shinobi of Obito's power while Minato pleads for Obito to stop, to which Obito responds by saying his own name with some confusion.
As the three other Hokages move to where Obito is, Hashirama openly declares that Obito is stronger than him , which Hiruzen and Tobirama affirm. Madara prepares his own trump card, hoping Obito didn't notice it before. 🃏 While the Hokage was discussing the situation, Obito took the Prime Minister and the Second Minister by surprise, tearing their bodies apart.
Hagoromo Otsutsuki
Hagorumo is arguably the strongest character in the entire Naruto series. He was the son of Kaguya Otsutsuki and was thus born with superhuman abilities . His powers were such that even when he was not a jinchūriki, he was able to seal Kaguya Otsutsuki with the help of his brother.
After this colossal fight which lasted over two months , Hagoromo Otsutsuki made himself the jinchūriki of the Ten Tails, which further strengthened him to an unprecedented degree. He reigns supreme as the strongest jinchūriki in the entire Naruto series. 🍥
