Its secondary purpose is to control the secondary branch, as it can be activated at will by a member of the main branch. Neji Appearance
Neji has remarkably long dark brown hair, typical of men of the Hyūga clan. 🤩 In the first part, her hair reached the middle of her back and was tied a few inches above the end, there were also two straps attached to her ninja forehead protector that framed the sides of her face. In part two, he got rid of those straps and let his hair, which is now longer, frame his face instead. Sasuke's Pursuit Arc
Neji was recruited as a member of the 5 ninja team in the mission to recover Sasuke Uchiha pitting them against the four sound ninjas.🔊 Neji was chosen to be at the back in the single-line move strategy organized by Shikamaru Nara, his byakugan being an advantage to watch everyone's back. When, during the mission, the team was captured by Kidōmaru's web, Neji was able to free them and send them after the other members sent by Orochimaru while he fought this formidable enemy alone. Kidōmaru was able to analyze Neji's defenses and find the blind spot in the Byakugan , proving to be a dangerous enemy.
Neji realized that Kidōmaru was much more powerful than him, but he was determined to never give up, because he wanted to show those who considered him a genius that their faith in him was good and prove that he would no longer give up to destiny. 🙅🏻♂️ Neji was seriously injured when Kidōmaru managed to shoot an arrow into his chest. However, he managed to prevent it from hitting his heart by moving at the last moment and deflecting his chakra with the arrow. Kazekage Search Arc
In the second part, Tsunade sends Team Guy to help Team Kakashi rescue Gaara , who is now the Kazekage of Sunagakure Village, and who has been captured by the criminal organization Akatsuki. ☁ Along the way, Team Guy is attacked by Akatsuki member Kisame Hoshigaki, who managed to trap Lee, Neji and Tenten with a water prison technique using water clones, leaving the real Kisame to confront Guy. During this fight, Guy opened the first six chakra gates to defeat Kisame. Lee and Tenten were saved by Neji who broke free from the water prison and saved the others.
Neji and his team arrived outside Akatsuki headquarters moments before Team Kakashi, although they left a few days later.🏃🏻♂️ The squads discover that there is a barrier, and seals in different locations that had to be removed before they were allowed entry. When the seals were removed, Team Guy had to fight against a clone of themselves because of the trap set by Akatsuki. Lee realized that the clones didn't get tired, but they lacked emotion and couldn't improve. Neji and his team quickly defeated the clones armed with this knowledge, and returned to help Team Kakashi, only to find Gaara dead. Lee and a group of others then witnessed Chiyo sacrifice her life to revive Gaara with a forbidden jutsu. ❌ Neji and his team then returned to Konoha with Team Kakashi.
Fourth Great Ninja War
Neji participates in theFourth Great Shinobi War , alongside Hinata, under Kitsuchi's Second Company. He and the rest of the company were sent to where the White Zetsu army was gathering, and after Kurotsuchi and Kitsuchi together discovered the division of the White Zetsu army traveling below them, Neji and his teammates engaged the Zetsu in combat. He and Hinata fight exceptionally well together, with them combining their Hakke techniques perfectly.👊🏻 After taking down many of them, he is caught in a surprise attack by one of them, which he then blows up using the soft punch technique. There were too many Zetsu and it was turning into a war of attrition, with the constant appearance of enemies, fatigue was starting to be felt. Despite this, he refused any medical assistance and simply chose to rest on Akamaru's back.🐶
On the second day, the fighting continued. He was confronted by the reanimated Kidōmaru , although he had been much stronger since the last time they fought. He first frees his teammates trapped by his web 🕸 and easily defeats Kidomaru. But this activates a seal that puts Neji Kiba, Shikamaru and Chōji in a coma and takes away their souls. They are then forced to fight the four of the reanimated sound in the barriet until their bodies eventually die. Inside the barrier, the four shinobi are confronted by Kidōmaru, Tayuya, Sakon & Ukon, and Jirōbō , who seek revenge for their deaths. They seem to have the upper hand at first, but realize that since these are resuscitations, they won't win so easily. As time goes by, their situation gets worse, until Shikamaru provokes them so that Naruto senses their evil intentions and finds the barrier.🍥 Once Naruto finds the barrier, he begins to pound it until that it breaks, allowing Inoichi to save all four of them from the barrier and return their souls to their original bodies.
Who killed Neji in Naruto Shippuden?
Now that Neji is back on the battlefield, he returns to fight the Zetsu White Army Battalion until the Naruto Clone comes to finish off the remaining enemies.🔪 Once the battle is over, Neji and the rest of the second company are sent to help Naruto, Bee, Kakashi and Guy in their fight against Madara, Obito and Juubi, the resurrected ten-tailed demon. Once there, he helps, along with Hinata and his uncle, protect Naruto from Juubi's attacks, as he is crucial to the ninja alliance's victory in the war.
However, the attacks from the enemy camp prove to be too numerous, forcing Neji and Hiashi to move to protect the other shinobi within firing range. Meanwhile, Juubi fires numerous volleys of projectiles at Naruto. Hinata attempts to sacrifice herself to save Naruto, but Neji intervenes to protect them, leaving him seriously injured. 😰
Naruto tries to call a doctor, but Neji resigns himself and accepts his death , and tells Naruto that his life is linked to many others, including Hinata's. When Naruto asks him why he would make such a sacrifice for him, Neji replies that it's because he called him "genius" once. He then dies, finally knowing what it is to willingly die for his friends, as his father once did. Upon his death, the Jutsu, the cursed seal of the Hyūga main family's curse activates, sealing his Byakugan.
Neji gave his life to save Naruto Uzumaki and his cousin Hinata Hyūga from Obito Uchiha and Jubi during the Fourth Ninja War. After the war, his body was brought back to Konoha Village, where he was properly buried.
