Naruto Shippuden's generation of Shinobi has given way to the best jonin 🐱👤 in the history of the hidden village, Konoha. But what about the different jonin in the Boruto saga?
The jonin rank is the second highest rank in a village after the Kage and is only possessed by a handful of very powerful individuals. All Jonin possess great strength 💪 which places them far above other normal ninja, such as Genin , Chunin or Tokubetsu Jonin . Much like Chunin, Jonin are allowed to lead their own team of shinobi.
So far, the Boruto series has introduced us to a few unique Jonin leaders, all powerful enough to defend their villages against different threats. Here is the list of the best Jonin in Boruto:
10. Moegi
Moegi is a kunoichi from Konohagakure, former shinobi of Team Ebisu composed of Konohamaru Sarutobi and Udon Ise. Moegi became Team 10's Jonin Sensei . She is a very skilled fighter and is known for her use of the Doton and Suiton . 💦 Additionally, she is also capable of using Mokuton , a rare technique that only a few Shinobi are capable of using.
9. Hanabi
Hanabi is the younger sister of Hinata Hyuga and the heiress of the Hyuga clan. She is an expert in close combat thanks to her skills with the Byakugan. Using the Byakugan , Hanabi can strike her enemies' chakra points, allowing her to paralyze her opponents' chakra usage. Additionally, her father stated that Hanabi's potential was comparable to that of Neji , who was a genius himself. Being a prodigy herself, she can use many Hyuga Jutsu 👊 such as the Hakke's Divine Whirlwind.
8. Akatsuchi
Akatsuchi is known as the pride of Iwagakure and is one of the strongest ninjas in his village. He is a powerful shinobi who has not only earned the trust of the Third Tsuchikage, but also that of the other Tsuchikages, indicating that his skills are nothing short of phenomenal . Akatsuchi is a master of earth liberation with his different abilities he can trap his opponents. Through his training and years of experience, he is currently known to be the strongest ninja in Iwagakure , 🐱👤 in terms of physical strength.
7. Yamato
Yamato is a former member of Konoha's ANBU division and currently serves the village as a Jonin. At a young age, Yamato was strong enough to join ANBU, thanks to his skills with the Mokuton . 🌳 His skills have evolved to the point that even several Hokage trust him completely. Although he is gifted in all shinobi arts, his specialty is clearly Mokuton with which he can even master the various tailed quests . 🦊
6. Kankuro
Kankuro is a Jonin from Sunagakure and the bodyguard of the Fifth Kazekage, Gaara. He is a master puppeteer whose skills have been recognized by Sasori, a legendary puppeteer and member of Akatsuki. Kankuro proved to be a kingpin during the Fourth Great Ninja War , ⚔️where he fought several powerful enemies and showed fans why he deserved to be a Jonin.
5. Konohamaru
Grandson of the Third Hokage, Konohamaru became a Jonin during the time jump ⏳ and is now the Sensei of the new Team 7 consisting of Boruto , Mitsuki and Sarada . He has three Chakra natures: Katon , Fûton and Yôton and also has an arsenal of Jutsu that he developed during the series. Additionally, he has even mastered the Rasengan , which he uses as his signature technique. Recognized by many, he aims to one day become the Hokage of the Leaf Village. 🍂
4. Shikamaru Nara
Shikamaru is the father of Shikadai Nara and the right-hand man of the seventh hokage , Naruto Uzumaki. He is an extremely intelligent ninja who possesses an IQ of over 200 🧠 when he was a Genin. Shikamaru primarily relies on his wits to defeat his enemies in combat, although he has decent skills as a fighter. He is, without a doubt, one of Konohagakure's greatest assets and his spirit makes him very reliable in difficult situations. Through his use of the Shadow Manipulation Technique, Shikamaru also managed to defeat one of the Akatsuki members , ☁️ Hidan in order to avenge his Seinsei, Asuma.
3. Kakashi Hatake
Kakashi is the Sixth Hokage of Konohagakure and before that, he led 7 ninja team consisting of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. He is an impressive shinobi, known in the ninja world as the Copy Ninja . 🐱👤 Kakashi fought against powerful opponents, like Obito, during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Even after losing his Sharingan, he found ways to stay in the TOP of the best Jonin in Boruto , and to develop new Jutsu 📜 to help him in combat.
2.Sakura Uchiha
Mother of Sarada and wife of Sasuke Uchiha , Sakura is one of the most powerful female characters 💪 in the entire Boruto series. Returning to Naruto, her progress was slow, but with Tsunade's urging, she transformed into a monstrously powerful Kunoichi . Sakura is known to be a monster of power, capable of punching through almost anything with her bare fists, empowered by her chakras. Her skills in medical ninjutsu 💊 are top-notch, which is why the shinobi of Konoha can count on her!
1. Rock Lee
Rock Lee is a former student of Guy Sensei , one of the strongest Jonin in Konohagakure. When it comes to Taijutsu , 🥊 few people can measure up to him because his strength and speed are beyond human understanding. Lee is able to use at least seven of the eight inner gates ⛩️ and through using them he gains immeasurable strength that rivals the power of a Kage. It is said that as an adult, Lee surpassed Guy Sensei as a shinobi, showing just how strong he is in combat!
